The Stage Of Christian Life (4)

The- Stage- Of -Christian- Life-4
Philippians 3: 13-14 - NT

"Of course, brothers and sisters, I really don't feel that I have attained the prize. But I do this one thing: I forget what is behind me and try hard to achieve what is ahead."

in living in the wilderness, we will be transformed into mature spiritual humans, no longer spiritual babies who have to be breastfed. In the wilderness there are only 2 possibilities, burned or succeed.

We see people who do not have God in their lives, are extraordinarily blessed, their business is progressing rapidly, while those of us who claim to be "sons of God" turn out to be barely living.

Examples of God's formation process are:

There are many other things that people around us do for the purpose of keeping us away from God. Meanwhile, we ourselves feel like living in hell, and begin to question the existence of God and the visions that God gave us before.

If our trust in God gets weaker (even we almost lose that belief), then God will appear again to strengthen us.

Not everyone is successful in living life in the wilderness. Many falls as a result of the rigors of God's upbringing on that person, but God will raise that person again and give strength to him.

We will make through the wilderness successfully if we remain attached to God, if we remain obedient to His word. And if we make it through one stage, God will give a blessing or gift to us.

While in the wilderness we must keep our attention on God, not on these obstacles or hitches. We must be willing to do what God commands us to change our lives. We must see things as God sees them.

Following God means we are in self-denial. If previously our life was centered on "I" or only on self-centeredness, now we kill that "I", and this is very difficult because basically as humans or flesh that used to live to satisfy our lusts, now we have to live for God.

James 1: 2-4

"My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials,

Knowing that the testing of your faith produces  patience.

But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing."

The preaching of the Gospel preached by the churches of today is preaching of the gospel that is "pleasing to the flesh", the preaching of the gospel that comes from "the flesh", because many sermons in the church teach "How to get what we want?", not "how to know God's will in our life? ”.

The evangelism now is a "success" evangelism, where the pastor tells about the successes in his life, not telling "ways to seek God". It's not that God doesn't want HIS children to be successful, God wants all of their children to be successful and successful in their lives, that's why Jesus said:

John 10:10

“Thieves come only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come, that they may have life, and have it in all its abundance."

The words above contain two words, namely "life and abundance". A person who has abundance in wealth but not in soul and spirit, will satisfy this abundance for his flesh, which will eventually lead him to destruction.

And it is not the same as the promise that Jesus gave above, He said he would give us abundance which also brings life within us.

The abundance that brings life can only be had if we can turn off the desires of the flesh, and for that God brought us to the wilderness, so that we may have life. After being successful in the wilderness, it is life that is abundant that will await us.

He knows all the blessings that He bestows on us will be used the best of it for the kingdom of God in this earth. He understands that we will not abuse His gift, we will not steal His glory, instead our lives will glorify Him even more.

Romans 8:29

"For all those whom He chose from the beginning, He also predestined them to be in the image of his Son, so that He, his Son, might be the firstborn among many brethren"

That is why I run on towards my final goal to gain victory, which is life in heaven; for that God called us in Christ Jesus

The tools that God uses to purify a person's life usually come from the people around us. The tools used can be husband, wives, children, relatives and even our closest friends. Usually God takes people from the worldly circles, to form His chosen person.

These people will try to keep us away from the calling that God has determined, they will mock us and drop our faith in God. They will laugh at our belief in God, they even challenge us and ask us, "Where is your God?". A question that hurts us, because at that time God is far from us.

- For example, if you are unemployed and looking for work, it will be difficult for you

to find work, while other people who do not know God will easily find work.

- Your co-workers got promoted a promotion, while you remain in your position

- The people closest to you will say you are pretentious, act pious and others

- People will laugh at you and ask about the coming of Jesus who from 2,000 years ago has not yet come

- People ask, why doesn't God help your life, does God really exist?

If we only look at the difficulties or problems we face, not at God who can and wants to deliver us from all the problems we face, then we will perish in the wilderness.

We must surrender all the ideals, desires, volitions, things that we have had for a long time to God, so that people will see that it is no longer us who are seen, but Christ who is seen by people in our lives.

James 1:2-4

1: 2 My brothers and sisters, count it all joy when you fall into various trials,

1: 3 for you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance.

1: 4 And let endurance have its ripe fruit, so that you may be perfect and whole and lacking nothing.

Pastors also teach, "techniques for our prayers to be heard and answered by God", not "What I must pray God, who needs the support of my prayer

We become blessed-chasers, not blessings-chasers.

If we are successful in going through the wilderness of our life, then God's blessings will flow enormously in our lives. Prosperity and peace will follow us throughout our lives. Because God knows that all the abundance, He gives us will not make us perish, but instead make us live.

And finally, we have become human beings who should be, namely humans who were created to worship and glorify God and Serve Him.

Jesus loves you and whole your family
