The Stage Of Christian Life (1)

the-stage-of-christian-life-1
Christian means followers of Jesus Christ, which means that there is a reciprocal relationship, or a two-way relationship between Jesus as God and us as His followers.

In the Christian life it is possible for someone to claim to be a "Christian", and claim that Jesus is his Lord, but what matters is whether Jesus himself acknowledges that person as His follower.

This error usually occurs in the life of someone who comes from a Christian family, because they feel that from childhood they have been to church, read the Bible, and follow various activities / regulations set forth by their church, so that person claims to be a Christian.

Christianity is a two-way relationship between God and His people. Only Christians can have active contact with their God, because

- Our God is a living God, not a dead God.

- Our God is a God who can speak directly to us, not a God who is mute.

- Our God is a God who is familiar with His followers, not a God far away from the sky, and only nods and strokes his beard to see people praying to Him.

- Our God is a God who feels our suffering, because He was once human.

- Our God is the most feared God on earth, because he is the one who will judge everyone.

A person can be considered as Christian because he goes through several stages in his life.

The stages that must be passed are:

1. Confess Jesus as Lord and Savior / Jesus the Son of GOD and the son of MAN.

A person can only be called a follower of Jesus when he has confessed in his heart, and said with his mouth that Jesus is Lord and Savior.

The confession uttered by this man was not by his own, but the Spirit of God guiding him. In the Bible it says that

1 Corinthians 12: 3

"Therefore, I want to assure you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God, can say," Cursed be Jesus! " and no one, can claim: "Jesus is Lord", except by the Holy Spirit ".

Only the Holy Spirit can make a person's mouth speak that confession. Many of these things are overlooked in the Christian life, people feel that they are the ones who chose Jesus as their Lord.

Indeed, God gives us free choices, do we want to acknowledge Jesus as God or not? but the initial confession that comes out of a person's mouth that Jesus is God comes from the Holy Spirit Himself working in that person. This is what is called "The Called People".

So, no human being can make someone a Christian or a follower of Jesus, if not by the Spirit of God. No Evangelist / Pastor / Servant of God can make someone become a Christian.

They only become God's tools to convey The Good News (Gospel) to someone, and it is God who works in the person who gets the preaching of the Gospel.

So, if someone says that he has made many people to become followers of Jesus, then that person does not know the truth of the Word.

2. Being baptized in water

Being baptized with water as a "sign of repentance", after a person confess that Jesus is Lord and Savior, then that person must be baptized with water as a sign of repentance, or as a sign that he will leave his previous life, the worldly life he has lived, or put off all her sins.

What about people who have been baptized since they were babies. As I have written in my previous writings, we are free to choose, whether to be baptized again or not.

Actually, baptism according to the Bible is being baptized by immersion, but as it is written in the Bible, "baptism does not save".

If you want to be rebaptized it is better, because first, you will be more confident (already following the Bible's commands), the second is good for those of you who rarely take shower, immersion baptism can refresh you. (At the time of baptism, it is forbidden to swim, maybe after that it is permissible)

There is another life outside of real life that we cannot see with our physical eyes, which is life in the spiritual realm.

The purpose of water baptism is that on your forehead there will be a stamp "Belonging to Heaven", which means that you no longer belong to the world (Satan), but have been appointed as citizens of heaven. Then you will be dressed in a white robe. Only Christians are in spirit wearing white robes.

For Christians whose Christians are lousy, their robes are also hollow or torn, but for other human outside of Christianity, their spirits do not wear clothes, or are completely naked. (Huu ....... !! don’t dare to see it ah!).

Well, so for not to be subjected to pornography laws at the spiritual realm let’s be a true Christian. (If you don't believe it, ask a shaman or someone who can see the spiritual world –that's why they are happy in the spiritual realm, because they can freely see naked people).

3. Baptized in the Spirit

After a person is baptized in water, he must lead a more holy life, because being baptized in water means that the person has repented from his old world.

When someone is baptized in the Spirit, no one else knows. So, the Baptism in the Spirit can only be known by the person concerned and God. As Jesus said:

 John 3: 8

"The wind blows where it wants, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it came from or where it is going. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit".

Everything is a secret of God, the reason why He baptizes someone with the Spirit, while others do not, is the prerogative right of God. (Same as the reason why someone can call Jesus as Lord).

The experience of Spirit baptism between one person and another is not the same, some feel like they have been electrocuted all over their body, some do not feel anything, some feel that they have met Jesus, some are weeping because God reminds them of all their sins and so on. No experience is the same with one another.

Another thing that is usually found by a person who is baptized in the Spirit is that the person can speak in tongues. But not everyone who can speak in tongues has been baptized in the Spirit (hm ... confused, right?).

When a person is baptized in the Spirit, God also gives spiritual gifts to that person. Each person has different gifts.

The purpose of being given a gift is to equip the person for the service that will be assigned to him. And as we often hear the words "Nothing is Free", all the gifts God has given to believers will also be required to use them.

Whether or not the gift is used, and if used whether the gift is used for the glory of God or just to show off. (For example: speaking in tongues, many are used just to show off).

After receiving baptism in the Spirit, the person has a close relationship with God, no day without praising and worshiping Him. There is an intimate fellowship between God and that person, this is what is called "FIRST LOVE".

God gives a vision to the person about his life in the future, prayers are quickly answered or granted. Easy to understand the contents of the Bible, guided directly by the Holy Spirit and so on.

This event lasted for some time until finally God had to educate the concerned person to become "Adult Christians".

A person who has just received the Baptism in the Spirit is a "Spiritual Baby". As a baby grows up, that person must also grow in his spiritual level, because the ultimate goal of being adopted by God to become His child is so that the person becomes more like Jesus Christ, so that our Lord Jesus will become the firstborn among many brothers.

Romans 8:29

"For all those whom He chose from the beginning, He also predestined them to be in the image of his Son, so that He, his Son, might be the firstborn among many brethren"

Jesus loves you and all your family
