Clean Your House From The Dark Power (2)

In the Acts of the Apostle we read about the burning of accursed goods, whose value when converted into rupiah currently reaches 40 billion rupiah (USD 4 million - Peter Wagner).

“Many of those who have become believers come and confess in public that they ever have participated in such acts.

Many of them who had practiced magic, collected their books and burned them in front of everyone's eyes. The value of the books was estimated at fifty thousand silver coins." (Acts 19: 18-19)

As for the objects that can become a foothold for evil spirits to live in the house are:

1. Statues of foreign gods.

Many souvenirs from countries such as Thailand, India, Bali and others are objects of accursed things, because in their manufacture they surrender these objects to the gods. The author himself was once offered paintings in Yogya that were filled with magical powers so that people would buy them. Paintings like Nyai Roro Kidul (Satan in Indonesia), to paint it the painter must fast first. Many souvenirs also consist of statues of the gods they worship.

2. Occult objects.

Such as amulets, Tarot cards, heirloom keris, fortune-telling books,horoscopes, Ouija boards, voodoo dolls and so on, including ashes storage for people of Chinese descent, places of worship in houses in Bali and so on

3. Other objects

such as pornographic videos, pornographic books, comic books, posters, films, music with the theme of Satan. You have to watch out for rock music, because many musicians/ rock bands make a pact with the devil to get their tapes/ cd/ vcd to be bought by the public. Children's toys depicting demons, horror books and so on.

There are many other things that are not listed here, but by allowing things like the above to enter our house, we are giving Satan a legal foothold to occupy your house. You cut holes in the defensive walls that God has built around you.

To know what objects must be destroyed or thrown away/ burned we need the help of the Holy Spirit. If you or your family experience disturbances in your house, then you can pray and ask God to show you what objects or things are causing the disturbance.

The problem is that many Christians today do not have an intimate relationship with God. For that you can ask your pastor or servant of God who has the gift of distinguishing spirits ... or has spiritual discernment.

There are three kinds of spirits: namely evil spirits, human spirits and heavenly spirits, including angels and the Spirit of God.

A person with spiritual discernment can recognize the type of spirit moving behind an event. There are some people in the Body of Christ who have the gift of discernment.

Those whose gifts are grown and developed are able to see the spiritual situation of a place or around people more accurately than other Christians.

Spiritual discernment can also be obtained by knowing God through God's Word and through God's Spirit being able to hear His voice. The closer we get to God, the more sensitive we will be to the presence of evil spirits around us.

But it must be remembered that if the person who owns the object does not want to throw away/ burn the object, then we cannot do anything about it and we do not have the authority to destroy it, because these objects do not belong to us.

In addition to goods or objects, devil can also have an official footing to live in a house through the status of the land/ house.
