PROSPERITY THEOLOGY
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to
destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may
have it more abundantly.
John
10 : 10
I won't get caught up in the current christian teachings
about prosperity. Many pastors speak from their pulpits that as Christians, we
must be successful, rich, and blessed. Those pastors take verses about
prosperity without looking at the full content.
So many Christians this day are currently trapped by this
teaching. They think the only succesful people in this world are the people who
have worldly success. Having wealth, fame, position, and other things from this
world.
How can these pastors teach their congregations the success
God wants is worldly sucess? The bible says, God hates the person who love this
world and everything in it.
Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone
loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
1 John 2 : 15
Even more clearly it is continued in the verse below.
For all that is in the world--the lust of the flesh, the
lust of the eyes, and the pride of life--is not of the Father but is of the
world.
1
John 2 : 16
I believe God never wants me to be successfull and wealthy
as the world's standard. If God gives me wealth it is so I can give it to
people in need. To orphans and widows as God orders.
I believe I am only God's channel to people who needs it. I
am only the manager of all the wealth God gives and God is the owner. If God
says "give to that person", than I will give it to that person. A
manager has no rights to the wealth he owns. Every cent of the wealth he uses,
must be accounted to the real owner, God Almighty.
If I have a high position or high rank in society, then I
will use that high position or rank to introduce Jesus Christ to this world. I
will use it for the expansion of God's kingdom in this world. So that through
me, God's name will be known, glorified, exalted, and many souls will be saved.
Amen.
Remove falsehood and lies far from me; Give me neither
poverty nor riches— Feed me with the food allotted to me. Lest I be full and deny You, And say,
“Who is the Lord?” Or lest I be poor and steal, And profane the
name of my God.
Proverbs
30 : 8 -9
Jesus Christ loves you and your whole family.
