Story About Heaven (3)
I tried to write down what is the spiritual realm inhabited by fallen angels or the kingdom of Lucifer.
As I have written, many Christians do not understand and do not want to understand what is the spiritual realm, even though the Bible has said a lot about the spirit and the spiritual realm. The Lord himself said that:
• John 4: 23-24
"But the hour is coming and the time has come, that the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth; for the Father wills such worshipers"
"God is Spirit and whoever worships Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth."
If we want to worship God properly, then we must learn to know about the spirit and spiritual realm, and later God will open our eyes and show us that spiritual realm.
One of the advantages of Christians who previously (before becoming Christians) came from shamans, mystics, psychics, Satanists or Satanic churches follower and so on (occult), for example Daud Toni, Equ Hidayat, Tabaraka (priest in Indonesia) etc., is that they know more about this spirit realm.
Although the realm they usually go to is the demon kingdom spirit realm (but sometimes these people can also see angels), because they know a lot about the spiritual realm, God usually gives them the gift of casting out demons (deliverance).
Without understanding the spiritual realm, one cannot understand God, Angel and Devil. Many people think that God, Angels and Devil live in one realm with humans, no brother ... the spiritual realm is in another dimension and is not the same as the realm that we see.
Spirit beings from the spirit realm can come to our world, whereas ordinary humans cannot come to the spiritual realm, except as I mentioned above.
Before Adam fell into sin, he was a perfect being, that's why in the Bible it says that God often came to the garden of Eden and talked with Adam.
• Genesis 3: 8
"When they heard the sound of the Lord God, who was walking in the garden on cool days, the man and his wife hid from the LORD God in the trees in the garden"
But after man fell into sin, the human spirit that was able to relate to God became disconnected. Or in other words, God is far from human. God, who was a friend, could walk and converse in a short distance, became a distant God.
Humans who were able to live forever become immortal humans, the longer the human lifespan is getting shorter until now only 60-70 years old, more than that is a bonus.
Since Jesus' victory over the devil, God has restored the relationship between man and Himself. If God was far from man, now God is closer to man, even closer than the time of Adam and Eve.
If in the time of Adam and Eve, God would come once in a while with Adam, now we have God for 24 hours, because God chooses to live in humans in the form of God the HOLY SPIRIT.
• 1 Corinthians 6:19 - NT
"You must know that your body is a dwelling place for the Spirit of God. The Spirit lives in you. And God Himself gave that Spirit to you. You do not belong to you. It belongs to God"
Well, because we have been bought in cash by God with his own blood, this body is not ours anymore, but belongs to God. To know more clearly about the "spirit world", we must know who we are.
According to the Word of God man consists of:
• 1 Thessalonians 5:23 - NT
"May God Himself who give us prosperity, make you people who truly live specifically for God. May God protect you entirely, whether in spirit, soul or body, so that there will be no defects when our Lord Jesus Christ returns"
1. BODY (FLESH)
In Hebrew it is called "basar", in Greek it is "sarx". It is a place of "worldly consciousness" or the body in contact with the material world that is visible to us. Christian humans who have not experienced new life are usually called flesh men.
2. SOUL
In Hebrew it is called "nephesh" or in Greek "psuche", which is the place for the "personality consciousness" of man himself. Or someone's personality. The soul includes determination, thoughts and emotions. Is a link between spirit and flesh
3. SPIRIT
In Hebrew it is called "ruach" or in Greek it is called "pneuma", which is the place for “Godly consciousness”. It is in this spirit humans communicate with God. God speaks to us through the spirit.
The body or the flesh cannot ally with God, the one who can have fellowship with God is the human spirit itself.
The human spirit has its own life in a spirit realm that is different from that of body and soul. It is the human spirit who can know the presence of evil spirits around us or in our lives.
That's why the Apostle Paul said
• Galatians 5:16 - NT
"I mean this: Let the Spirit of God guide you and do not live according to the desires of human nature"
or the Lord Jesus said in:
• Matthew 26:41 - NT
"Be alert, and pray that you do not experience trials. It is true that your spirit wants to do what is right but you cannot, because human nature is weak"
Flesh will eventually become food for maggots and worms, and nothing is good in the life of the flesh. The life of the flesh is very fond of the world and everything in it.
The flesh never delights in the spiritual life. For him what is satisfying is letting go of his lust, lust of luxury, lust of sex, lust of orgies, lust of pleasure and so on. Flesh food is satisfying the lusts of the flesh.
That is why it is said in
• Galatians 5:17 - NT
"Because the desire of man is against the desire of the Spirit of God, and the desire of the Spirit of God is against the desire of man. The two are opposites, so you cannot do what you want"
• Galatians 5:19 - 21 (ED)
"The desires of human nature are manifested in obscene, dirty, and unworthy actions;
Gal. 5:20 in idolatry and sorcery; in hostility, fighting, jealousy, irritability, and selfishness; divisions and parties,
Gal 5:21 and jealousy, drunkenness, parties and so on. Against all of this I warn you now as I warned you before, that people who do such things will not become members of God's people.
• Romans 8:13 - NT
"Because if you live according to human nature, then you will die; but by the power of the Spirit of God, you continue to put to death your sinful deeds, then you will live"
In order for the human spirit to become stronger, every day the spirit must be given food as well, as for spiritual food, namely: The Word of God, Prayers and Praise.
If we want to get closer to God, then we have to feed the spirit regularly. And a person who has a close relationship with God will automatically have more open spiritual eyes, that person will be more sensitive to the spirits around him, he can distinguish the spirits around him.
Actually, that person's spirit is working, because that person has given his life to God, and asks the Holy Spirit is always be with him, and usually God also gives gifts to "spirits of discernment" to that person. So, if we want to know about the spiritual realm, draw close to God. God will open our spiritual eyes.
For example, we can see in the Book of Kings when the prophet Elisha was visited by the enemy's royal army, his servant was very afraid to face the enemy army, but what Elisha saw and what his servant saw was different,
Elisha could see that the surrounding mountains were full of the armies of the kingdom of heaven, while his servants could only see the enemy troops.
It was only after Elisha asked God to open the spiritual eyes of his servant, that the servant could see the heavenly troops surrounding the mountain.
• 2 Kings 6: 15-17
"When the servant of the man of God got up early and went out, there was a troop with horses and chariots around the city. Then the bachelor said to him," Woe, my lord! What are we going to do? "
"He replied," Do not be afraid, for there are more with us than with them. "
"Then Elisha prayed," O Lord, open his eyes, that he may see”. Then the LORD opened the eyes of the man, and he saw. Behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.
Thus brethren, around us appear to be nothing, but in fact our lives are surrounded by spirit beings that are invisible to the eyes of our world.
Therefore, we must live according to the will of God, do not do sin anymore, because apparently there is nothing hidden in this life, as the Apostle Paul said:
• Hebrews 12: 1
"Since we have many witnesses, like a cloud that surrounds us, let us put off all the burdens and sins that so hinder us, and race diligently in the race that is required of us"
